- First of all, turn off your Vizio Smart TV.
- Now look at the back of your Vizio smart tv, and identify how your device is connected to the TV.

- It’s time to scan; for this, press the down arrow to select the Auto Channel Scan and press the OK button to launch the scan.
- This scanning process may take several minutes to find all channels from your signal.
- If you’re connected to a satellite box or Cable, the scan process will find only one channel. You will then use the CableCable or satellite box remote to change the channels.
- Boom !! You’re in the business again.

- It’ll take a few minutes to reach 100%, so wait patiently, and then hit the exit button.
- Now you’ll have two options to choose from for watching available channels; Cable or satellite box – take the satellite or cable remote’s channel down and channel up keys. And for Direct wall cable or Antenna – hit the Channel down and Channel up button for checking available channels.
This will resolve the Vizio channel scan problem, but if doesn’t simply power cycle the TV, and run again the channel scan process. To do so follow the below steps.
- Turn off the TV, and unplug it through the power socket.
- Ensure you press the Power button on the TV for 30 to 40 seconds and your TV should be unplugged from the power outlet.

- Turn on the TV.
